Parsadi Meena backs Right To Health Bill

Jaipur: Taking a tough stand against the protest over the Right to Health Bill by doctor organisations, Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena on Monday said that the Right to Health should be implemented across the country.

“The Right to Health is in compliance with the guidelines of WHO and the orders of the Supreme Court. Gehlot government’s intention is clear that every patient should get the right to medical treatment. I would urge PM Modi that Right to Health should be implemented across the country,” Meena said with a strict tone on boycott of govt schemes in private hospitals. “Do what you want to treat, don’t do it if you don’t want to. But the Right to Health cannot be stopped by making pressure like this. Earlier some people had boycotted many schemes including Chiranjeevi. But what happened, the schemes also came and everyone got benefit,” he said.

He said that the objections of all private doctors were heard on February 11 and members of the Select Committee will meet once again on February 15.
