Panel constituted for formation of Jaipur Heritage City Authority

Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has constituted a high-level committee for giving recommendation for the formation of Jaipur Heritage City Authority for the purpose of heritage conservation.

Preservation and conservation of heritage buildings in the walled city of Jaipur will be the main objective of the authority. The walled city of Jaipur was included in the list of world heritage site by UNESCO on July 6, 2019.

The town planning department has prepared a special area heritage plan. Committee will prepare a draft proposal regarding rules and necessary laws for formation & operation of authority
