Over 2L cases resolved in 3rd Lok Nat’l adalat

Jaipur: The third National Lok Adalat of 2023 was organized in Rajasthan high court in Jodhpur & Jaipur and in subordinate courts.

National Lok Adalat was organized on Saturday by Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority in which more than 2 lakh cases were resolved through compromise and awards worth crores of rupees were passed.

Executive Chairman of Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority Justice MM Srivastava inaugurated the national lok adalat in the new building of high court.

A total of 494 benches have been set up, including five in the Jodhpur High Court and four in Jaipur. This initiative aims to address the staggering caseload in Rajasthan, with 3,93,539 pending cases and 6,54,405 pre-litigation cases referred for hearings.

Notably, this Lok Adalat introduces online participation for the first time, facilitated by the innovative RSLSA-23 digital platform. The Lok Adalat’s primary objective remains to provide accessible, affordable, and expeditious justice.
