OUR DUTY TO STRENGTHEN OUR PATRIOTIC RESOLVE BY HOISTING THE TRICOLOR: GEHLOT

Jaipur: In the presence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, more than one crore students of government and private schools of the state together set a world record by singing patriotic songs at the state level program organized at SMS Stadium on Friday as well as in programs held across the state. Students from all the schools of the state participated and collectively sang patriotic songs in this program organized by the Department of Education and Art and Culture in the series of programs going on under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

More than one crore students from across the state, sang patriotic songs together in this programme organised at the state, district, block and school level under the ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ being celebrated to commemorate 75 years of independence. On this occasion, VP of World Book of Records, Pratham Bhalla presented a provisional certificate of world record to CM Ashok Gehlot, which he dedicated to students and people of the state. Congratulating the Education Department, the CM said, “Today, three-fourths of population in India is young. The new generation will get a chance to imbibe feelings of patriotism & learn about sacrifices of leaders like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Khudiram Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Sardar Patel via these songs. A sense of communal harmony will also strengthen,” he said. After the event, the CM interacted with the children present at the SMS Stadium and encouraged them. Education Minister Dr BD Kalla said, “The nation is the biggest centre of faith for the common man.”
