Only Congress defeats Congress says screening chairperson Patil

Jaipur: Congress Screening Committee Chairperson Rajni Patil on Wednesday said that no formula has been decided for the selection of Lok Sabha election candidates. Patil said that only Congress defeats Congress.

“No one else can defeat Congress, only Congress defeats Congress. We all have to come together. We can win only if we fight together,” She said.

Meanwhile, Congress workers welcomed the re-nomination of Govind Singh Dotasara to the post of President and appointment of Tikaram Jully as the Leader of Opposition.

Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and other leaders were present at the PCC office. Jaipur, Lok Sabha candidates will be chosen based on “winnability” with a focus on young leaders, Randhawa said on Wednesday. He said, “If BJP can field MPs in elections then Congress can field its MLAs.”
