On fast since Dec 25, Jain monk Sugyesagar Maharaj passes away

Jaipur: Jain monk Sugyesagar Maharaj, 72, who was protesting against making Jain pilgrimage Sammed Shikhar a tourist destination in Jharkhand, breathed his last on Tuesday. He was fasting for the last 10 days against the decision of Jharkhand govt. Sugyesagar was on fast since December 25 in Sanganer. His yatra started from Sanganer Sanghi temple on Tuesday.
