Nursing officers and staff to protest against SMS administration over 'Parking Issue'

Jaipur: On Tuesday morning, a protest was carried out at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur for about 2 hours. Subsequently, there was a confrontation with Dr. Achal Sharma, the Medical Superintendent, and a meeting was held at 2 o'clock, which was unsuccessful. Following this, all employees collectively formed the Employees Coordination Committee, led by state president Pyare Lal Choudhary, district president Baldev Choudhary, Anand Sura from the pharmacy, Jitendra Singh from radiography, and Rajesh Sharma from the ministry.

This committee was formed in response to discriminatory practices in the new parking arrangements for nursing and paramedical staff at the medical college issued by the administration on October 10, 2023.

Sawai Mansingh Medical College has the highest number of nursing staff among health workers, and most employees park their vehicles at the largest parking lot located at Gate No. 3 of the main building. However, the hospital administration recently issued an order.
