NSUI’s new State prez Vinod Jakhar to campaign for Student Union polls

Jaipur: The oath-taking ceremony for Vinod Jakhar as the new State President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) will be held on July 25, 2024, at Birla Auditorium. Key figures such as Sachin Pilot, Tikaram Jully, Govind Singh Dotasra, and NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary will attend the event, which will also feature cultural performances.

Vinod Jakhar, who takes over as the NSUI State President, is set to unveil a comprehensive strategy to restore student union elections in Rajasthan. He has criticized the BJP government for failing to fulfill its manifesto promise of conducting these elections and alleged that the current administration is deceiving the youth.

Jakhar condemned recent government actions against students, including police lathi-charges and the filing of false cases under various laws. He pledged that NSUI would mobilize student power to challenge BJP.
