NSUI workers lathi-charged after clash with cops during protest

Jaipur: In Jaipur on Wednesday, there was a clash between NSUI activists and the police during a protest march. The police baton-charged the NSUI activists and dispersed them. The organization’s state president said, “On the orders of the government, the police batoncharged us. This reflects low mentality of BJP.”

In fact, in Jaipur, NSUI activists were planning to march from the Martyrs’ Memorial to the BJP headquarters in protest against the statement made by BJP MP Anant Hegde. However, the police barricaded the Martyrs’ Memorial beforehand, stopping the NSUI activists. This angered the NSUI workers, who attempted to break through the barricades.
