Jaipur/Ajmer/Kota/Jodhpur: The demand for conducting students’ union elections is gaining momentum across the state.
As NSUI decided to protest on Monday, police were on alert and seized several vehicles in Rajasthan University. Several vehicles with black film on their windshields were confiscated.
In Jodhpur, NSUI workers closed the gate of JNVU head office and protested by climbing on the gate. In Churu, protesters blocked the main gate of Government Lohia College.
In Ajmer, NSUI protested at GCA College by burning an effigy at the main gate of the college.
In Kota, NSUI members protested at Commerce College by closing the college gate and climbing on it.
