NSUI clash with police at RU

Jaipur: NSUI activists, who were protesting in the Rajasthan University campus, On Wednesday tried to enter VC’s secretariat forcefully which prompted the police to use mild force to disperse them. ABVP nat’l secy Hoshiyar Meena and four others were arrested while trying to enter the VC secretariat from the back door.

After the protest by NSUI, syndicate member and Kishanpole MLA Amin Kagzi reached the university and met them. Kagzi assured to resolve their problems. The NSUI marched towards the VC secretariat to give an 8-point memo at around 4 pm. The officials did not allow them to enter the secretariat following which they created ruckus and tried to forcefully enter the office. Meanwhile, over 50 ABVP workers also reached there during the syndicate meeting and shouted slogans against NSUI and Congress.
