NORMS EASED FOR MIXED LAND USE ON ROADS

Jaipur: The construction of roads, confined to files so far, will now be easy, land use of leased plots will be easy, mixed land use will be possible on the roads. In many such cases the state government has eased the process and removed the hurdles.

Under the chairmanship of GS Sandhu, Advisor Urban Development Department, the state government has constituted a high powered committee in PSKS Abhiyan. The committee brainstormed for procedural improvement in many cases related to UDH and Local Self Government Department.

On the recommendation of this committee, decisions were taken in the meeting chaired by Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal. According to these decisions, detailed orders have been jointly issued by both the departments. In this order, where the government has given clarification and new provisions have also been implemented.

Township Developers Association of Rajasthan and CREDAI Rajasthan had demanded the state government to remove the practical problems coming in the disposal of various cases.

According to this order issued by the government, now 10 shops have been made necessary for the informal sector on 100 plots in the township scheme. Earlier this provision was for 20 shops.
