Nodal officers appointed for protection of couples

Jaipur: Voluntarily married couples will no longer have to wander here and there for police protection as the Police Headquarters has appointed nodal officers in all the districts to ensure the safety of these youths. Due to safety issues, such couples have to take refuge in courts.

RAC DIG Shweta Dhankhar has been made State Nodal Officer to ensure that such couples do not have any security related problems in the state. ADG Civil Rights Smita Srivastava has instructed all nodal officers that voluntarily action should be taken on priority as soon as the complaint of married couples comes and their safety should be ensured.
