No tolerance for negligence in public service departments: CM
Jaipur: On Friday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma chaired a review meeting at CMR to expedite various projects in Sanganer Assembly constituency. He emphasised that negligence in departments serving the public will not be tolerated at any level. He emphasised the need for coordination between the JDA and Municipal Corporation to address cleanliness, sewerage, and road issues, ensuring minimal public inconvenience. The CM also instructed the development and maintenance of Sanganer Stadium and local parks, and the repair and beautification of historic gates under the 'Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi' vision.
To address delays, Sharma directed officials to streamline procedures and hold biweekly meetings with the AG-AAG to monitor court case progress. He criticised delays in tap connection applications and ordered the removal of negligent engineers, urging the Public Health Engineering Department to expedite pending cases and simplify the application process.
Additionally, Sharma stressed timely beautification of the Dravyavati River and the completion of ongoing projects. Public representatives provided feedback on local development needs, including road widening, drainage improvements, and infrastructure enhancements.
