No. of FIRs swells up across the State

Jaipur: After the orders to compulsorily register FIR in the state, the number of FIRs has swelled up across the state. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had ordered in October 2019 to make mandatory filing of FIR in the state, a first initiative in the country. After the order, about 1,92,227 cases have been filed in the state so far this year.

However, the performance of State Police is very good in disposing of cases and disciplinary action is being taken against the officer for pending cases.
