No eligible child should be deprived, it’s responsibility of all of us: CM Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot transferred Rs 146.74 crore in the bank accounts of over 5.91 lakh Palanhar beneficiaries through DBT on Monday. This includes assistance of Rs 59.38 cr for June 2023 to 5,92,630 beneficiaries and Rs 87.36 crore for July month to 5,91,730 beneficiaries.

Addressing a state level programme of dialogue with Palanhar Beneficiaries at CMR, Gehlot said, “This would put an addl burden of approximately Rs 300 crore on the state exchequer with the increase in the assistance amount. Instead of closing the Palanhar yojana that was started by previous govt, we have increased assistance amount and the categories.
