No devp works in JMCH municipal areas: JDA

Jaipur: In a significant development, the Jaipur Development Authority has announced its decision to cease all future development projects in the areas under the Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation.

This decision, issued under the directives of JDC Manju Rajpal, comes as the JDA Secretary instructed all engineers to halt development activities in these zones. Historically, the JDA has been actively involved in developmental initiatives across these municipal corporation areas. However, in a notable policy shift, it has been decided that going forward, the JDA will not undertake any new projects in these regions.

The JDA traditionally allocates 15% of the proceeds from land sales to the respective municipal corporations. From FY 2024-25, this 15% share will be provided upfront.
