NHAI to start demarcation of northern ring road

Jaipur: NHAI will soon start demarcation for acquiring land for Jaipur’s northern ring road project. The road will be constructed from Agra Road to C Zone Bypass and a survey will be conducted. After which, NHAI will issue a notification, the NHAI officials informed in a meeting held by JDC Ravi Jain.

The NHAI had issued a notification for land acquisition in 2019 but the formula for constructing the Ring Road could not be decided therefore the notification got lapsed.

Metro route to be extended: The DMRC has submitted the Detailed Project Report of package 1D (Mansarovar to Ajmer Road) to Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation. According to DPR, the cost of this project will be Rs 195 crore. CM Ashok Gehlot had announced the expansion of metro route in the budget speech.
