New transfer list of IPS officers: CM honours competent cops

Jaipur: The new transfer list of IPS was the outcome of a discussion between CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, CS Sudhansh Pant & DGP UR Sahoo in which, the CM has honoured capable officers.

Vikas Kumar, who was away from field posting for a long time, finally returned to the mainstream.

During the Assembly elections, he got an important responsibility as a nodal officer and while handling this responsibility, Vikas Kumar made a new record of seizure of illegal money and drugs.

Now he has the important responsibility of Jodhpur range IG.

On Tuesday, CM said in the Assembly, “We will not spare the corrupt” and today, the DG in ACB was posted. The charge of DG ACB was the ADG ACB Hemant Priyadarshy for a long time and now Rajeev Sharma has been made the new DG of ACB.

Giving command of ACB to an officer like Rajeev Sharma means something big is going to happen. 3 officers- Anshuman Bhomia, Rahul Prakash, and Anil Kumar Tank got promotions from DIG to IG from Jan 1. Usually, senior IPS are posted in CMO (CM Security) but this tradition was broken in the previous government.

Promotee IPS officer Shankar Dutt Sharma was handling the responsibility for a long time. The new government has now appointed senior IPS officer Gaurav Srivastava. Srivastava has done good work while working in CM’s home turf. The government also sent Rahul Prakash to Bharatpur as IG to curb increasing crime in Mewat. Ravidutt Gaur being transferred to Kota as IG means good feedback about him.
