New FY likely to be golden year for Raj tourism

Jaipur: First in London, then in Spain and now in Berlin. Rajasthan tourism has created a buzz. The magic of the title of the safest state, the rich heritage and the tradition of considering the guest as God is going on all over the world.

RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary, Tourism, and RTDC MD VP Singh reached Fitoor Mart in Spain. Now, it’s the turn of the International Travel Borse ie ‘ITB’ in Berlin, Germany.

Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore, Joint Director Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Director Shikha Saxena and Consultant GM Pradeep Bohra of Palace on Wheels interacted with travel agents and tour operators from around the world.

Palace on Wheels got advance booking of 250 cabins for the next season and during the roadshow, world’s renowned travel agents and tour operators showed interest in visiting Rajasthan and promised to bring big tourist groups. It should be expected that the new financial year will prove to be the golden year of Rajasthan for tourism.

In fact, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made a provision of Rs 1.5 thousand crores in the Tourism Development Fund, after which Minister Vishvendra Singh and Tourism Corporation Chairman Dharmendra Rathore prepared a brilliant and effective strategy for aggressive marketing.
