New Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant takes charge, lists priorities

Jaipur: Senior IAS Sudhansh Pant took charge as Chief Secretary of Rajasthan on Monday in Secretariat’s CS office. After assuming the charge, Pant spoke to media persons and thanked PM Modi and CM Bhajan Lal Sharma.

“I have been given the responsibility of this post with confidence. Decisions will be taken in the interest of the state so that the people can get relief. Efforts will be made to realize the vision of developed India. We will strengthen financial position by discussing with Finance Dept officials. There are big issues and it will be appropriate to talk about the plans only. There will be good coordination with the Centre, we will continue to get support from Centre. The state should spend entire allocated amount. Decisions will be taken only after discussing proposals,” he said. Pant further added, “The state will not have any problem in coordination with Centre.”
