Nahargarh-Jaigarh ropeway project hangs in balance
Jaipur: The meeting of Executive Committee (EC) of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) was held on Friday. During the meeting, it has been proposed to terminate the contract done for building ropeway between Nahargarh and Jaigarh.
The JDA had given the contract to Damodar Ropeway Limited in 2005, but the firm could not complete the work owing to clearance from forest department. Similarly, issue of building flyover at OTS intersection could not finalised during the meeting.
Sources informed that the flyover project is yet to recieve nod from senior government officials. The meeting was chaired by JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain.
