Nagar: Raj will be made hub for solar equipment manufacturing

Jaipur: Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar said on Monday that the state government is striving to establish Rajasthan as a key hub for solar energy production, assembly, and manufacturing of solar equipment.

Addressing entrepreneurs at the India Solar Component Expo organised by the Rajasthan Solar Association, Nagar invited their suggestions for potential policy amendments, promising prompt government consideration.

The Minister also interacted with beneficiaries of the ‘PM Kusum Yojana’ and entrepreneurs, addressing queries and discussing opportunities in the solar industry.

Nagar highlighted cost-effective solar panel production and job prospects & plans to include Rs 10,000 crore investment in state power infrastructure under RDSS scheme.”
