‘My three gens have nothing to do with Sanjivani scam’
Jaipur: Reacting to CM Ashok Gehlot’s remark on PM Modi’s repeated visits to Rajasthan, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Sunday said in that the state government should not be afraid of PM’s visits as whenever he visits, he gives gifts to the State.
“Whenever PM visits here, the State gets gifts of thousands of crores for development. But the Rajasthan govt is taking the people towards destruction in the name of development,” he told the media in a press conference at BJP hqs here. About his defamation case against CM Gehlot, Shekhawat said that the criminals are afraid of arrest. “I have nothing to do with the Sanjivani case for three generations. It was told by the government that I am an accused in the SOG investigation. So tell me on which date and through which thing I have been found guilty,” he said.
Regarding toppling the State government, Shekhawat said, “People have paid the price for saving the govt. The public is now being looted by the government. Wherever you put your hand, only corruption will be seen. There is corruption in the recently launched Annapurna scheme also. Schemes are being made only for the benefit of politics,” he said.
