Munesh Gurjar takes over as Mayor for 3rd time after HC order

Jaipur: After getting relief from High Court, Munesh Gurjar has again taken over the post of Mayor which was vacant for last 74 days.

She reached the corporation office with her supporters and assumed the post. Gurjar said, “This victory is the victory of truth. I had faith in judiciary and God. I have got the opportunity to serve as a Mayor for the third time.”

“The new government will not have any impact on the Municipal Corporation Board. We have an absolute majority. All councillors will work together to serve Jaipur,” she said.

Munesh may join the BJP. She was removed from the post of mayor twice but got relief from the High Court. Now, there are speculations that the Mayor may join BJP in a few days.
