Mumbai: Raj tourism bags ‘Best Design & Decoration’ award at OTM

Mumbai/Jaipur: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari, who was the chief guest at the closing and awards ceremony of Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) in Mumbai on Saturday, said that Rajasthan is famous for its palaces, heritage sites, infrastructure, eco-tourism, etc. The participation of Tourism Department in OTM has opened the doors of tourism development in Rajasthan for foreign professionals. The event at Jio World Convention Centre is a leading travel trade show in Asia.

Rajasthan Tourism received the Best Design and Decoration award at OTM. The Dy CM said that Rajasthan tourism has played an important role in hosting the G-20 meetings. “Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur have been identified as MICE hubs of India. Tourism and trade in Rajasthan accounts for about 14% of State’s economy and provides economic benefits such as employment generation, infra devp and promotion of local handicrafts,” she said.
