Jaipur: The delay on part of Madhya Pradesh in submitting its detailed project report (DPR) for the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) under the Modified PKC (Parbati-Kalisindh-Chambal) - ERCP Link Project is costing the construction and completion of the project.

An MoU was signed between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh three months ago between the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on January 28 in Delhi. It was signed under the mediation of Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Instructions were given to prepare a DPR soon. Rajasthan has filed its new DPR in Delhi but the one from MP is yet not yet submitted.
