MP Kirodi meets Minister Mamta seeking justice for a rape victim

Jaipur: Rajya Sabha MP Dr Kirodi Lal Meena on Tuesday reached WCD Minister Mamta Bhupesh’s residence seeking justice to the family of a minor dalit rape victim.

“I will sit on a dharna here till the family members of this Dalit girl get justice,” he said. The police had caught the victim from a gang and later handed it back to the gang instead of handing her over to the CWC. Ram Nagaria SHO was suspended in the matter. Mamta listened to the mother of the rape victim and as she started crying, the minister hugged her and assured of action.

Mamta and Kirodi also had lunch together at her residence and remembered a 20 years old incident when they both has lunch at Mamta’s Dasua residence.
