MoUs worth Rs 6,052 cr signed during IT & Startup Pre-Summit
Jaipur: Ahead of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, MoUs of more than Rs 6,000 crores were signed in the IT and Startup Pre-Summit at Hotel ITC Rajputana in Jaipur on Tuesday. Addressing the programme, Technology and Communication Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore said that Rajasthan is the most favourable state in the country for investment. He said that the state government is determined to not only sign MoUs with companies but also ensue development.
In the pre-summit, investment agreements (MoUs) worth Rs 6052 crore were signed with 43 companies in the field of technology and innovation. Besides, digital Rajasthan Yatra was flagged off and a replica of the cheque for funding of Rs 5.65 crore to be given to 145 startups was also unveiled. Under the iStart program, funding has been released to startups across all stages, including pre-seed, seed, and growth stages.
Archana Singh, Secretary of the Department of Information Technology and Communication, said that the department is playing an important role in the ‘digital transformation’ of Rajasthan and making significant contributions towards this goal.
