Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be showcasing another gem to the world in the form of Pink City as he hosts French President Emmanuel Macron in Jaipur on Thursday.

Macron is on a two-day state visit to India, where he will be the chief guest on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi.

Macron’s visit breaks away from the traditional protocol of hosting world leaders only in the national capital. It is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to offer unique glimpses of India’s diverse heritage and landscapes to visiting foreign state heads, where he has been emphasising his commitment to showcasing India’s rich tapestry, from spirituality, heritage, and royal splendour to cutting-edge technology.
