Mining work begins at Banshi Paharpur

Jaipur: With the commencement of mining work in two mines of Banshi Paharpur, along with transportation of more than 50 tonnes of sandstone in the afternoon, two vehicles have also been released. ACS Mines Dr Subodh Agrawal said that starting legal mining work in Banshi Paharpur was a big challenge for the govt, but the result of effectively defending the state was that first diversion of forest land was done by the central govt.

Mines and Petroleum Min Pramod Bhaya has also been continuously monitoring the efforts. SME Jaipur Pratap Meena has been made the officer-in-charge.
