Mines dept to set new record of revenue earning this year

Jaipur: The mining department is creating new records in collecting revenue this year. As per the official estimate, the department earned a revenue of Rs. 5572.96 crores till January 31, which was Rs. 836 crores more as compared to the same period of the previous financial year.

ACS (Mines) Dr Subodh Agarwal informed that the mining department earned a revenue of Rs 6395.75 crores in the last financial year, whereas this year the department earned a revenue of more than seven thousand crores rupees. “Coordinated efforts are being made by the department to increase revenue. There has been a remarkable success in increasing the revenue by regular monitoring and review of departmental working,” said Dr Subodh Agarwal.
