Mines Dept collects record Rs 2.5K cr revenue untill Aug in FY22-23

Jaipur: The state’s Mines dept has collected a record revenue of Rs 2,588 crore 93 lakh in the current financial year till August. ACS Mines Dr Subodh Agrawal informed that the recovered amount is Rs 614 crore 63 lakh more as compared to the last year. In 2019-20, a revenue of Rs 968 crore was recovered. In 2020-21, the revenue saw a drop due to the pandemic impact on economic activities, so the department is not even comparing it.

Dr Agrawal said that CM Ashok Gehlot and Mines and Gaw palan Min Pramod Jain Bhaya’s zero-tolerance policy against illegal mining, transportation and storage in the state is the result of it.

Dr Agrawal informed that in the month of August, the revenue of Rs 598 crore 26 lakh has been recovered in the state. Whereas in the previous year Aug 21, a revenue of Rs 446 crore 19 lakh was accumulated. He informed that there has been a growth rate of 31 percent.
