MINES DEPARTMENT EARNS RECORD REVENUE UNDER AMNESTY SCHEME 2022

The Department of Mines set a record on Thursday in earning revenue under the amnesty scheme. Under the amnesty scheme 2022, an amount of Rs 18.9 crore was recovered from L&T Limited. Officials informed that a meeting was held with the representatives of the company in the presence of Additional Director Mahesh Mathur. The company agreed to settle the pending cases of illegal mining and deposit fines under the scheme. Additional Director (Mines - Jodhpur Zone) Mahesh Mathur informed that of a total of 497 cases, an amount of Rs 38.79 crore have been deposited in the state under the amnesty scheme.
