Mines department creates record, auctions 3 blocks of base metal

Jaipur: The state’s mines department created a record by auctioning three blocks of base metal simultaneously. Besides, the department has also got success in auctioning a block of iron ore. Mines Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya, ACS Vinoo Gupta and Director Sandesh Nayak have successfully e-auctioned blocks of major minerals.

Khakhaliya Kheda iron ore block of Rajsamand was auctioned on August 24, Udaipur’s Pipaliya block August 25 and base metal block of Banera tehsil of Bhilwara on August 28. All three blocks are named in SMO Ferro Alloys Private Limited and it gained the blocks by bidding 3.81 of the reserve price.

New mineral blocks have been prepared and a single window system has also been prepared in coordination with various depts before placing them in front of the investors. This is the reason for successful auctioning of limestone, manganese, copper, iron ore and base metal online.
