Min Dhariwal upset over delay in JDA projects

Jaipur: UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal got angry on the delay of the JDA projects on Wednesday. He expressed displeasure in the review meeting of progress of projects held at his residence. Several reasons were cited in the meeting regarding the delay in SMS IPD Tower Project, Jawahar Circle, Lakshmi Mandir Tiraha project, and B2 bypass traffic signal free project.

Dhariwal gave strict instructions saying that whatever deadline has been set for the project try to complete the project 2-3 months before that so that the project can be completed during the tenure of the current government.

Direct instructions were also given to the representatives of the concerned firms present in the meeting.
“Ensure the availability of maximum labour and material,” he said.

Dhariwal told Consultant Anoop Bartaria that maps and designs should be made available on time. The minister told the concerned engineers of JDA to complete the work quickly with mutual coordination and monitoring.

“Engineers will be held responsible if projects are not completed on time,” he said.
