Mental Health body for caring mental patients

Jaipur: For the care of mental patients, the State Mental Health Authority has been constituted in the state in accordance with the Mental Health Care Act-2017 and the State Mental Health Authority Rules-2018.

Shubhra Singh informed that the state mental health related rules and bye-laws will be made soon by organizing a meeting of the Authority. Along with this, mental health boards will also be constituted and rules related to the rights of mental patients will also be decided. In the Authority, ACS has been designated as Chairman, Mission Director National Health Mission as CEO and Director Public Health as Member Secretary. Apart from these, there will be ex-officio and non-official members in this authority.
