Medical student from HP ‘hangs self’ in SMS hostel

Jaipur: A third year MBBS student died by suicide at SMS Medical College by hanging himself in the hostel room late on Friday night. The reason for the suicide is not yet. The victim identified as Aman Baragta (22) from Himachal Pradesh had deleted his Instagram profile before suicide. The forensic team has collected evidence. SHO Navratan Dholia said that Aman was a resident of HP and lived in Kothari Hostel of SMS Medical College. He did not come out of the room until 10 am on Saturday morning and did not answer calls. Later, his friends came to his room to call him. After knocking the door for long time & not getting an answer, they got suspicious and then called the police who broke open the door.
