MECL to explore mining in Raj

Jaipur: ACS Mines Subodh Agarwal said that Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL) has shown interest in exploration work for mineral deposits in Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Barmer, Churu and Rajsamand for exploration of potash, rare earth element, lead and zinc deposits. Expenditure on exploration work is also proposed to be borne by the Central Govt. Agrawal met CMD Ghanshyam Sharma and officials of MECL at the Secretariat on Monday and showed interest in participating in exploration work. During the discussion, Agarwal stressed upon the CMD MECL and officers to take advantage of the expert services of MECL in the mineral exploration.
