MARTYRS’ WIDOWS UNDER ‘HOUSE ARREST’

Jaipur: After 60 hours of martyr widow Manju Jat disappearing from the protest site outside the bungalow of former Dy CM Sachin Pilot, a video has surfaced in which she is seen under house arrest by the police at plot number 26, Anand Vihar, Harmada.

Police have been deployed all around the colony where Manju Jat is present. Manju has not eaten for many days and she is not even able to speak, people close to her claimed. Manju didn’t say anything even after asking several times. She is said to be in shock. In fact, Manju Jat, wife of martyr Rohitashv Lamba who died in the Pulwama attack, along with two other widows Sundari Devi Gurjar and Madhubala Meena, was sitting on a dharna in Jaipur.

At 3 am on March 9, the police forcefully removed all the three widows from the dharna site. After picking up Manju from the protest site, the police dropped her at her village Govindpura Basdi. Then she was admitted to Amarsar PHC.
