Mark space to construct multi-storey bldgs: Sandhu

Jaipur: UDH Advisor GS Sandhu on Friday, chaired a meeting of the State level steering committee of Prashasan Shehron ke Sang and asked the officers to identify and mark space for the construction of multi-storey buildings in the master plan and zonal plan of the cities.

It was informed in the meeting that the government has implemented the policy for creating zones for the demarcation of multistorey buildings but local bodies did not determine this in the plan. It may be noted that the HC has directed for this in the Gulab Kothari case.

Implementing new design of rainwater recharge structure, renewing the master plan as per the vision-2050 was also decided in the meet. Jaipur’s Vishweshwar Ji’s Chaukri will become a model in terms of heritage conservation.

UDH Advisor GS Sandhu held a meeting regarding conservation of the Walled City. As the Unesco team may visit in March or April, Sandhu instructed officers for conservation of Vishweshwar Ji ki Chaukri.
