Main accused in Dr Archana Sharma’s suicide case nabbed

Jaipur: The police have arrested prime accused in Dr Archana Sharma suicide case here. The arrested accused Ballya Joshi alias Shivshankar Joshi was absconding and police had kept a reward of Rs 5000 on him. After the death of a patient, Joshi & some of his associates staged protest outside doctor’s hospital in Dausa after which the police registered a case of murder against Sharma.

Later, government removed SP Dausa and the SHO and CO were also suspended.

After doctor’s suicide case, people expressed their anger. Some people who were protesting and harassing doctor’s family disappeared. Joshi was one of them.

Joshi, however, claimed innocence & said he was being implicated in case. He reached six hrs late on dharna & police have written his name in FIR under pressure. “Doctor Sharma took this step due to dispute in family.” He said.
