Lumpy infection hits Dausa, dept oblivious to the spread

Jaipur: The lumpy skin disease has spread in the cows in Dausa also. The report of the National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases, Bhopal has confirmed lumpy in cows of 2 gaushalas of Dausa while the Animal Husbandry Department has considered Dausa as disease free. Till now, the disease has reportedly spread in 24 districts of the state. As per the figures of Animal Husbandry Department released on August 16, so far 4,51,186 animals have been infected in the state. Official data says that not a single animal is suffering from this disease in districts like Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur etc.
