LSG withdraws JMCH Mayor’s suspension

Jaipur: The Local Self Government department on Friday withdrew the suspension of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage Mayor Munesh Gurjar after the HC order. She was suspended on August 5 following the arrest of her husband Sushil Gurjar by ACB. Munesh had challenged her suspension in the High Court.

After the court order, she had resumed the office on August 24. Despite this, 37 Congress councilors along with top Congress leaders had opened a front against her demanding to sack her and arrest.

Notably, the JMCH Mayor Munesh had condemned her suspension, labeling it a “political conspiracy” aimed at her and her family.
