LS polls: Top Raj leaders, 11 mins face crucial litmus test in 1st phase

Jaipur: Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan will be held in two phases on April 19 and April 26. In the first phase, the fate of the candidates will be decided with the voting on 12 seats to be held on April 19. Along with 11 Ministers of the State, the credibility of many senior leaders will also be at stake in this election. The victory or defeat on these seats will also serve as a ‘litmus test’ of the political acumen of the State Council of Ministers members and many prominent leaders overseeing election campaigns on various seats. BJP has appointed election in-charges on every seat by coordinating both power and organisation. A total of 114 candidates are in the fray in the 12 Lok Sabha constituencies going to polls in the first phase. These include 102 men and 12 women.

In the first phase of LS elections in Rajasthan, voting will be held in Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Nagaur.
