LJP announces Ghanshyam Awasthi as candidate for Dausa by-elections
Jaipur: The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has announced Ghanshyam Awasthi as its candidate for the Dausa Assembly Bypolls. This move comes as preparations for the state by-elections intensify. Despite the party’s alliance with the BJP at the Centre, LJP has chosen Awasthi for Dausa.
Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party will contest three seats: Dausa, Jhunjhunu, and Deoli-Uniara. Coalition agreements mean no candidates will be fielded in Khimsar, Chorasi, and Salumbhar.
