Limestone block to fetch Rs 9,981 cr in 50 years

Jaipur: The successful auction of Ninama Duniya Limestone Block of Kota Ramganj Mandi will fetch revenue of Rs 9,981 crore to the state in the next 50 years, whereas in this financial year Rs 9.57 crore will be generated from this block.

ACS Mines Dr Subodh Agarwal said that after the successful auction of one limestone block each of Jaisalmer’s Ramgarh and Nagaur, the dept is excited with the auction of Ninama Duniya block of Kota Ramganj Mandi at premium rates. Eight blocks of major minerals have been auctioned so far this year, which is an all-time record.
