Limestone auction to set a record

Jaipur: In a first, the mines department has prepared 14 blocks of limestone in one district for auction.
The blocks have been prepared in Nagaur district and put on an e-auction platform. This is for the first time that 14 blocks have been prepared in a single district.
Tender documents can be purchased by August 7 and bids can be submitted by August 25.
The blocks are in Harima, Peethasiya, Khetolao, Sarasani, Somna and Deh. Earlier, on July 7 and 10, 8 blocks were put up for e-auction. It is the first occasion when 30 blocks were put on auction in one month. The department will get revenue of more than Rs 1 lakh crore in next 50 years if the auction is successful.
