Land conversion files were returned by UDH Dept

Jaipur: In the matter of arrest of a broker Lokesh Jain with Rs 12 lakh bribe in Udaipur in which the role of Principal Secretary and Joint Secretary of the UDH department is under scanner, the files for the land conversion of the complainant had come in the UDH in last some days. The case files are related to Sajjangarh Sanctuary and the department returned all files to Udaipur UIT to re-examine the case in accordance with the latest orders of the Supreme Court.

Actually, a lot of urban area of Udaipur comes under the ambit of Sajjangarh Sanctuary and NOC has to be taken from UDH department for land conversion (90A) of agricultural land in this area.

Although the SC stayed new construction in the eco sensitive zone of the sanctuary.
