Kota Development Authority Bill-2023 passed for systematic development

Jaipur: The State Legislative Assembly passed the Kota Development Authority Bill–2023 on Monday with a voice vote. Urban Development and Housing Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal said that the Bill will ensure proper and systematic development in Kota region. Kota city, Kaithoon of district Kota, Taleda and Keshavraipatan of District Bundi, and 292 villages have been included in this region.

Dhariwal was replying to the discussion on the Bill in the House on Monday. Highlighting the objectives and reasons of the bill, the Minister said that the Kota region has been defined in the Bill including the surrounding villages and towns. This will help in making and implementing plans and projects related to the development of Kota region.
